Doreen Jattan, co-owner of Roman Paradigm Massage & Therapy is featured on the cover story of Womens Connections magazine and is a wonderful mom.

There is a great article on Women’s Connection. Doreen’s background is unlike any other, she was born in poverty on the Islands of Fiji in Suva.

She was raised by her single mom until the age of 3 when her mother re-married. When she reached 10 years of age, she migrated to San Jose, California due to her stepfather’s brother who was living in the States after his marriage. The struggle still went on as her family was still poor in the States. Being raised by blue collar parents, the mentality was instilled in her to always do your best, go to school until you get a good paying job, and pray allot. She agreed with two of the three.

She did her best, and prayed allot BUT she did not settle for a “job”. She wanted to break the norm of what her folks taught her. After engulfing herself into the holistic approach to pain management, she took on the massage career knowing how much her parents would disapprove of this due to her strict background. As you may have noticed, she does what she feels right in her heart.

Massage became a way of life and identity to her. She discovered that through bodywork, she needn’t worry about her problems and helping others deal with their pain made her feel successful in her line of work. Along with partner Robert Vignoli, Roman Paradigm Massage & Therapy was born in 2005 and it is still going strong.

She has been able to start a new family; newly born baby boy named, Ronak of  7 weeks and a baby girl named, Shivani, 16 months. Her strong family values carries into her business as she refers to her team at Roman Paradigm Massage & Therapy as “FAMILY” and treats them as such. Currently, she takes care of her long term clients by requests.

As far new clients, she will see them once but then will refer them off to one of her trusted and valued therapists in the family/facility. She mainly does this because her attention is to continue building a strong force of therapists who can cater to the community with the same passion and with the same results as her therapies has for years.

She thanks all her past and current client-tel as well as friends who have supported her through her ventures. Stay tuned as the biggest phase of her career is about to take route in the next year.

• 60 minutes = $105 (not full body choose upper or lower body only)
• 75 minutes = $120 (recommended length)
• 90 minutes = $145 (recommended length)
• 120 minutes = $195
