Types of Massage Offered by Rachael: Sports, Clinical and Relaxation
The reason why most clients come in for massage is because they are in some type of pain or discomfort. This pain can range from anywhere to a mild discomfort or severe but the important thing to remember about any pain is that its an indicator that something is not right with your body.
Rachael offers a form of treatment which in most cases will provide immediate reduction of this pain. Pain and soft tissue dysfunction may be chronic or acute nature. Acute pain is usually something that happen in a single incident like a fall or blow to any part of the body.
Chronic pain is usually the residual effects of a fall or a blow to any part of the body left untreated for a period of time. Chronic pain is often referred to as an “overuse condition or syndrome” and is more problematic and harder to treat as well as trying to identify the source of the pain problem. Rachael’s extensive training and experience is perfect for these types of pain problems so if you are suffering from this, we suggest booking a massage appointment with her.

More about Rachael:
For me, massage is much more than just a good back rub. Massage is the ability to create space for the body to heal and bring oneself back to a state of homeostasis: mind, body and soul.
My love for healing touch and desire for the health of the body is what brought me to choose massage therapy. I was able to partake in extensive curriculum and an intense full-time training offering 1034 clinical hours. I’ve taken classes ranging from structural alignment to healing energy and found each and every one to be significant in the work that I do.
One thing of many I am able to say I have is healing. Healing is part of who I am and has been a huge part of my life since I was young. Massage is far from something that I just do. I know for myself I am able to say I love what I do and most of all, I do what I love.
