This Weekend Stop By Santana Row And Help Celebrate 10 Years! During its construction Santana Row almost did not happen when it went up in flames on August 19th, 2002. The fire went to 11 alarms and cost an estimated $100 million in damage. It was the largest structure fire in San Jose's history. But just 2 months later Santana Row opened its doors.
